Complaint guide · Lower back pain
When getting up
is the hardest part of the day.
Lower back pain often eases on its own within a few weeks. If it keeps coming back or doesn't go away, it's worth looking into the cause: in most cases you don't have to live with it.
Sound familiar?
If any of these are part of your everyday life, you are in the right place.
- Bending or lifting sends a stab into your lower back.
- Getting up from sitting takes minutes.
- Your lower back is stiff in the morning and the day starts slowly.
- The pain sometimes radiates into the buttock or the leg.
- It gets worse after a long drive or desk work.
- Even your sleeping position is dictated by your back.
What may be behind it?
The lower back hurts where the load adds up.
Stiff joints
When the small joints of the spine move less freely, the back stiffens - and the body defends itself with pain.
Muscle tension
Chronically tense, adhered muscles pull on the lower back and tire it, even at rest.
Sedentary lifestyle
Lots of sitting weakens the core muscles - and the lower back takes over their work.
Old injuries
The body stores and compensates the trace of a strain or fall from years ago for a long time.
We decide what your treatment builds on after the assessment. That is why it is never a template with me.

If the pain comes with fever, is accompanied by numbness or weakness, or started after an accident, please see a doctor first. Treatment complements medical care - it does not replace it.

The method
I never treat lower back pain with a single technique.
From the tools of Baronekgyógyír Integrated Therapy (BIT), the one your back truly responds to is used: bone-setting, therapeutic massage, reflexology or movement therapy - adjusted to your condition.
