I am Béla Baronek.
Naturopath and therapeutic masseur in Pécs. For 24 years I have worked so that people can move without pain.
The path
I started out in the gym.
I began as a qualified physical education and remedial gymnastics teacher, and it was in the gym that I learned the most important thing: the body is made for movement, and most complaints start where the movement gets stuck.
Then came naturopathy, reflexology, bone-setting, therapeutic massage and ear acupuncture for addiction treatment.
I came from movement, and then I learned what lies behind it: as a naturopath the connections within the body, as a reflexologist the reflex zones of the foot, through bone-setting the language of the joints, as a therapeutic masseur that of the muscles. Ear acupuncture for addiction came later, mainly because of people who wanted to quit.
Out of these many tools grew Baronekgyógyír Integrated Therapy (BIT): I do not start from the technique but from the assessment, and that decides what is used.
The practice
A quiet courtyard, 5 to 8 minutes from the city centre.
The practice is at the back of the courtyard at Blaha Lujza utca 54, and that is exactly what makes it a calm place: the street cannot be heard from here. The gate is open during consultation hours. Take a seat in the waiting room; there is no need to ring.
This is not simply a treatment room but an official, licensed naturopathic practice - the licence number is BA-04(NO)02290-1/2016. I carry professional liability insurance; my qualifications are listed below. As a naturopath I take part in compulsory further training every five years.
My qualifications: state examination as a physical education and remedial gymnastics teacher, and in naturopathy three professional examinations - reflexology, ear acupuncture for addiction treatment, and alternative movement and massage therapy. I am also a therapeutic masseur, a lymphatic massage therapist and a Dorn therapist, and I hold qualifications in kinesio taping and flossing band therapy. This many tools are rarely in one pair of hands - which is why I can always choose what the assessment calls for.
