The method

The whole journey
in one hand.

The essence of Baronekgyógyír Integrated Therapy (BIT): I don't start from the technique but from your complaint. The tool is chosen by the assessment.

The BIT wheel: the core techniques of the method with their symbols

What is BIT?

A name that stands for a way of working.

Baronekgyógyír Integrated Therapy - BIT for short - is my own system. It brings several proven techniques into one process, with a single shared rule: the assessment always decides which one I use. Not a new miracle method, but a working order in which treatment doesn't end at the table.

Several tools, one hand

Bone-setting, therapeutic massage, reflexology, movement therapy and ear acupuncture are not separate services with me - they are one toolkit. If one is not enough, the next is at hand, even within the same visit.

The techniques reinforce each other

You cannot free a joint over a tense muscle: massage prepares the way for bone-setting, and the exercises keep what the treatment achieved. Each would be worth less on its own.

Honest limits

I don't promise healing in advance, and I won't ask you back more often than needed. If your complaint doesn't belong to me, the assessment shows it - and I will tell you.

How a visit goes

The same complaint can have completely different causes in two people.

Behind lower back pain there can be a stiff joint, an adhered muscle, a weak core or an old injury. Whoever knows only one technique always uses that one. I start with the assessment and reach for what it justifies.

01

Listening and assessment

First we talk: the history of your complaint matters to me at least as much as the examination. Then I look at your posture and movement - and I only treat you once I understand what is happening in your body.

02

Integrated treatment

From the techniques below, the one the assessment justifies is used - even several within one visit. Behind that stands this set of qualifications: in naturopathy I am a reflexologist, an ear acupuncturist for addiction treatment and a therapist in alternative movement and massage therapy; I am also a therapeutic masseur, a lymphatic massage therapist and a Dorn therapist, qualified in kinesio taping and flossing. From these I choose what is best for you - and always only as far as your body is ready.

03

Regeneration and prevention

At the end of the visit you get concrete exercises, and we discuss what to do and what to avoid in the coming days so the result lasts.

What can you expect?

Many people feel significant improvement after 2-3 visits. But what you can expect, I can only tell you honestly after the assessment - I don't make promises in advance.

The toolkit

Many techniques, one system.

As a naturopath I have passed three professional examinations: reflexology, ear acupuncture for addiction treatment, and alternative movement and massage therapy. Alongside these, the toolkit includes therapeutic massage, lymphatic massage, the Dorn method and Hungarian bone-setting.

Hungarian bone-setting (csontkovácsolás)

Despite the name, this is not about setting broken bones: gentle hands-on work to help stiff, restricted joints move more freely. I don't work with force: a good move is precise, not big.

This is what I treat lower back, neck and back complaints with most often.

Therapeutic massage

Loosening adhered, chronically tense muscles, by hand and with devices. I often use it to prepare for bone-setting.

Reflexology

I work with the reflex zones of the sole, and many people feel the relaxation throughout the body. It comes in where the complaint is not only musculoskeletal: sleep, digestion, tension.

I also use it for persistent stress and exhaustion - on the feet, the hands and the ears alike.

Movement therapy

I started out as a PE teacher, so movement is part of the treatment with me: you get personalised, targeted exercises so the achieved state is maintained.

Ear acupuncture

A complementary technique with fine needles that I use to help people quit smoking or overcome other addictions.

Dorn therapy and lymphatic massage

The Dorn method combines gentle thumb pressure with your own movements to help your vertebrae and joints move more freely - no thrust, no force. Lymphatic massage supports lymph flow with soft, rhythmic strokes, so I use it to complement the treatment for swelling and in recovery after surgery or injury.

Kinesio taping and flossing

For sports injuries and overloaded muscles I complement the treatment with elastic bands: kinesio tape unloads the muscles while keeping you moving, and the floss band stimulates circulation around the joint.

Safety

When is treatment not advisable?

To keep treatment safe, there are health conditions in which it cannot be carried out, or where a medical opinion is needed first.

Treatment is not advisable

  • with a feverish, acute infection or inflammation,
  • with confirmed or suspected thrombosis, including deep vein thrombosis,
  • with a recent fracture, severe acute injury or unstable joint injury,
  • over open wounds, bleeding injuries, burns or active skin infections,
  • with a bone or joint infection,
  • with acute, rapidly worsening neurological symptoms,
  • with sudden or rapidly increasing severe pain of unknown origin.

Please tell me before treatment if you

  • have osteoporosis or another bone metabolism disorder,
  • take blood-thinning medication or have a bleeding disorder,
  • have cancer or are under oncological treatment,
  • have recently had surgery or radiotherapy,
  • have cardiovascular disease, an aneurysm or a previous stroke,
  • have an implanted medical device,
  • are pregnant,
  • have a serious spinal or disc condition, or previous spinal surgery.

For lymphatic massage

In case of acute infection or erysipelas (cellulitis), thrombosis, severe heart disease or heart failure, severe kidney disease, or an active tumour in the area concerned, treatment may only be carried out after a proper medical assessment.

When should you see a doctor first?

If you have new muscle weakness, a marked loss of sensation, numbness in the saddle area, or trouble controlling your bladder or bowels, you need a prompt medical examination rather than manual treatment.

Important: contraindications may differ depending on the method used. Before treatment begins, please tell me about known illnesses, previous operations, medication you take regularly and your current complaints. If needed, the treatment can be adjusted or postponed, or I will recommend a medical examination.
