Complaint guide · Stiff neck, shoulder and arm
When looking back
takes turning your whole body.
A stiff neck is rarely a lonely complaint: the shoulder, your posture and the hours at the screen squeeze it in together.
Sound familiar?
If any of these are part of your everyday life, you are in the right place.
- When reversing the car, you turn your whole torso, not your neck.
- Your shoulder hardens by evening, the tension creeps up to the back of your head.
- You wake up with a cricked neck - and it lasts for days.
- You feel a constant dull tension between your shoulder blades.
- Your arm sometimes goes numb, especially after long typing.
- Your headache starts at the back of the head and gets worse by evening.
What may be behind it?
The neck is rarely the only culprit.
Stiff neck joints
When the small joints of the neck move less freely, the shoulder has to make up for every turn of the head.
Posture at the screen
Every centimetre of a forward head is extra load - the neck's holding muscles work all day.
One-sided load
The bag always on the same shoulder, the hand on the mouse: the body is loaded on one side.
Tension
Stress sits in the trapezius. What you carry on your shoulders by day, your shoulder complains about at night.
We decide what your treatment builds on after the assessment. That is why it is never a template with me.

If the pain comes with fever, is accompanied by numbness or weakness, or started after an accident, please see a doctor first. Treatment complements medical care - it does not replace it.

The method
I never treat a stiff neck with a single technique.
From the tools of Baronekgyógyír Integrated Therapy (BIT), what your neck and shoulder need is used: bone-setting, therapeutic massage, reflexology or movement therapy - adjusted to your condition.
